Got a 30 win streak the other night, but it was getting pretty late for everyone and we wanted a good number to stop on. You can see in the chat that it was agreed on

Whoever said necromancers were useless, well... Faintheartedness makes sins 10x easier to mess up, one good savage shot puts them out of comission for a while!
There are ways to take care of them, sig of clumsiness right after you see palm strike is a good one, same with savage shot. Course, using smite condition/remedy/antidote sig as soon as you see them start palm striking also screws up their combo, and I've yet to see any sin cancel out of their chain.

... Not to mention how fun it is to abuse pin down and simply run away from them

Think we had 25 or 26 last night. Good team and fun to talk to.

Do it all the time. Have to admit that the first time a sin used Signet of Malice in a 1v1 rather than Trampling it caught me by surprise.

Generally speaking, as a sin it's just dumb to try to 1v1 a ranger. You farm most classes; big damage, condition stack and strong self heal.

But then, if you're accepting 1v1s you're probably not contributing fully to your team. If there's a soloist on the other team, you can beat him every time, Go find a power play, then 2v1 the soloist. Solo operations are a terrible idea unless you're trying to force multiple splits, then collapse on a small group via teleport. Killing people then capping dominates just capping.

I think I haven't broken 10 win streak yet, or if I did, it wasn't by much.

I have played 5 chars so far - war, derv, sin, necro and ranger.
Of the 4, the ranger has given the most consistent and longer streaks - I made 140 ToTs in 3 streak sessions. This is the most survivable char of all, only thing that bothered me was when playing against a good mesmer. I enjoyed this one far the most so far.... hehe, we got to 9 wins with 3 rangers, sin and mes.

The warrior is quite enjoyable and has big damage and decent self healing.

I quite enjoyed the Derv too, very survivable and high spike damage and decent healing capabilities. This one has made the second highest ToT bags thus far, 130-something.

The sin was ok... Didn't enjoy it that much to be honest.. I could kill every other char solo, a good mesmer was the most difficult imo, eles are lol. Just behind the derv on ToTs.

Necro was decent too... I solo'd quite a few guys, sins couldn't take me... just send cripple when you see palm strike coming, lots of sins didn't KD me and then it is game over for them. Even killed a few rits, monks and ele's with the necro on 1v1. Warriors and rangers were tougher. But this is a frustrating char to play, since the other 4 in the team must be decent themselves, since you are essentially playing a pressure build and you need some spiking.

I am looking to play the Ele and Mes next. They look like potential great fun.

The teams I hated playing against with freaking syncers, from VdT and a few other guilds and then of course the 4 sins, 1 monk teams and 2 sins, 2 monks, 1 ele teams. They are horrible.
At one stage I had 4 sins on my rangers ass when it looked I had 4 little raptors after me.

I am one of the 'stupid pve players who dont pvp' and EVERY group minus that one had one or two missing players .....5 on 3 is hardly a fair fight.....after which time I decided that this pve player gives up getting a group of 5 players together all at the same time.
(yes bad luck is my middle name)

4th night of straight up shit teams. I did have a few good ones I suppose from time to time but then we face some horrible build wars and lose.

6 wins is all I could manage today, a 4 in there too. The rest were 1-3 then lose. I lost my last 6 too. Couldn't pick up one win. I mean I might not be the best player but I'm not that bad and with some of the shit builds the classes have you can't solo 6 people.

Ah well, maybe I'll just get my r5 gamer. 10 days of CB, 1.5k gamer points instead of 5-8k lol.

I managed to land a team the other day being 3 sins and a rit keeping us alive. It was great cause we could call target and just munch thru anyone like they were popcorn before moving on to the next target. Sadly it ended on 2 roj spammers and some good interrupts, but we got 17 games out of that one. I'll be happy if I could get another setup like this anytime soon.

Didn't play to much. Had other things to do but had streaks of 15-12-9 today.

On the streak of 9. The team was solid. I made a kid rage though because we were arguing tactics. We obviously had the better team build and player skill, but he kept insisting on capping and running around for ten minutes for the win once we rolled the other team.

Seriously. We'd go up 5 or 6 points and he go okay run in circles and cap for the remaining 6 minutes. BIGGEST waste of time ever. Seriously, he would get angry when they scored points. He'd scream and yell, stop giving them points. As if it mattered? I'll trade points all day long, so long as i get 2+ points to their 1 point. Degraded into a cap vs killing argument and a sin vs necro argument. Told the kid that i was just voicing my opinion, and that i liked the team and everyone played well. But i wasn't going to quit. Kid shutup and raged AFTER we loaded the next map. The funny shit was that we beat the next team 4v5! Got another sin to make it 4 sins and a monk. Destroyed the next team, had the guys talk to shit us, to which i laughed when we rolled them. Next battle, the other original sin with me decided to rage too. Finally lost that battle. Ending the streak at 9. It was RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOin priceless.

I don't care how good or bad you are. Don't rage on a team because of a disagreement of tactics. It just tells me your baed at this game. Yes i play sin. I'm cocky. I'm pro- killing trumps capping. But by god if you disagree with me, disagree and show me that you're a better player than i am. Or at least rage quit before the next match. I wish there was a report feature for player skill. I'd check Lacking Skill on 90% of ppl i play with like on XboxLive. That way when i check other ppl rating out when i see 75% of ppl say the player lacks skill and trys to talk shit i know hes just bad. And when i check my rating and see that 80% say that I'm asshole who uses bad language and disruptive behavior. I know they are correct.

Yesterday I got 19 in a row. I swear we were the worst team ever. When I first loaded in 2 people didn't load until the my 3 other teammates and I got to the middle shrine (on the 3 shrine map). We won that, and went on to beating other teams. Funny thing is, our ele and sin were horrible, always going 1v4 ect. Thank god I had very experience teammates besides them. I had to go, but I don't think we could really go on much longer, as the games were always close and the teams weren't the best.

Team Comp:

Rit (me)
3 sins
Ele

19 here too.
Myself a as a Rit, which is odd since I never heal (primaries are ele and sin). Really enjoyed condition/melee support with this Rit build though ^_^

I agree, rits are fun ^^. It's a nice balance with support, damage, and healing.
